Paynters Counseling Center LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you contact our practice, visit our website, or participate in our text messaging program.

This policy supplements our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how protected health information may be used and disclosed and describes your rights concerning that information.

Please use our client portal for sensitive clinical information and documents.

• Respond to inquiries and requests.

• Coordinate appointments, including confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling.

• Provide administrative assistance.

• Maintain communication preferences and consent records.

• Operate our practice and meet applicable obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information when necessary to provide services, operate our practice, or meet applicable legal requirements, subject to the protections and limitations that apply to the information involved. 4. SMS / Text Messaging

Paynters Counseling Center LLC may send text messages about appointment confirmations, reminders and administrative updates to clients who opt in. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How to opt out: You can cancel text messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us, or text STOP to (978) 440-2547. You can also reply CANCEL, END, QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE. After you send STOP, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further texts from us. To join again, sign up the same way you did the first time or reply START.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

6. Information Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain consent and communication records, honor opt-out requests, and satisfy applicable recordkeeping obligations.

You may contact us to update your contact information or communication preferences.

For rights concerning your health records, please refer to our Notice of Privacy Practices. SMS consent and withdrawal apply to text messaging and do not replace the rights or procedures described in that Notice.

We may update this policy as our practices or requirements change. The current version will display its effective date.

Changes to this policy do not, by themselves, constitute your consent to receive new categories of text messages.
